Tales from the Garden
of Art and Magic
micro acts of stewardship
contributing to collective well-being…
“Chamomile” by Mayumi Oda
I have been so lucky in my journey, thus far,
to have been in the presence of beautiful stewardship
(Occidental Arts and Ecology,
my great San Rafael hosts-such deft grandparents).
To be in the presence of land and
circumstance well tended is the
best supportive kinship web in the world…
Tonight we host one of my hosts,
Mayumi Oda’s son Zak,
who runs Gingerhill Farm,

Venus is right between Mars and Pluto.
Out of the Cauldron, we are ladling

I asked: do you grow castor plants there? I grow one as an annual every year in NJ…and then I found that if you put your finger tips in the very center of the large leaves where the veins meet, it is centering and help you open wide…amazing plant allies…I just dug mine up to bring in for the winter, so far the tree is NOT happy ; (. any tips?
