Dear Caroline, I listened to Honoring December 21, 2012 this morning. I was particularly interested in the comments made by Bruce Scofield about Darwin not being necessarily about survival of the fittest, and that there was emerging evidence that evolution is actually about cooperativity. I recently published a book on this subject, entitled Evolutionary Biology, Cell-Cell Communication and Complex Disease (Wiley-Blackwell, 2012). In it i demonstrate that multicellular organisms have evolved from unicellular organisms through ‘metabolic cooperativity’. Regarding the influences of the physical environment on biologic systems that was discussed by Michael DiMartino, those influences are so ancient that we don’t recognize them as such, but they are imbedded in our physiology, as I and others have shown experimentally. Those traits are precognitive, so I think that it is very likely that the kinds of Astrological phenomena that you and your audience are interested in are the result of such interactions between our ancestors and our environment. By the way, Darwin was in my opinion very aware of such relationships, as reflected in his extensive descriptions of the topography around the Gallapegos Islands, but he didn’t have the scientific basis to make such claims directly. As an other corollary to that, Lamarck is coming back into vogue with the recognition that there are direct environmental effects on genetic inheritance. It’s called epigenetics, in which the DNA readout is modified, as we have recently shown (Rehan VK, Liu J, Naeem E, Tian J, Sakurai R, Kwong K, Akbari O, Torday JS.Perinatal nicotine exposure induces asthma in second generation offspring. BMC Med. 2012 Oct 30;10(1):129.). I think we will eventually see the functional connections between the physical and biologic domains that underpin Astrology. The sooner the better in my opinion. jt

Just a blessing to you and Deborah. I shared this link with my very Christian cousin who practices in the devout, compassionate way it was intended. I think she and her “Religious Left” friends will really appreciate this show and hear the beauty. She is not even slightly anti-Muslim, nor is she at all ignorant about these matters. Yet this is a gift showing the poetry that she can share that will be real for her friends who might not know that the “scary people” described to them in the Middle East by the American media are no more the heart of Islam than Fox News is the heart of Christianity.

HEMP: A GIFT IT’S TIME TO RECEIVE
The time for solutions is now; our future depends on it.
Today’s world is undoubtedly complex. Even if one chooses to try and live a life of inner and outer peace, one’s life isn’t without violence to others-especially if one defines violence along a continuum of negatively impacting other beings to actually physically harming them.
This reality of violence to other beings and the planet is especially true when one looks into how and what we eat and the depletion of the planet this results in; it’s true when we look into our clothes and what it takes to grow their materials and the way in which many of them are manufactured; and it’s certainly true when one looks into the energy that powers our homes, cars and industry and how it is extracted and turned into electricity, gas, and other fuel sources.
There is no silver bullet to solve any one of these basic requirements that humans have for our ongoing survival. In fact, the issues that need to be addressed for just one of these demands (food, clothing, energy) are massively complex, and made even more so given the population pressure, the geo-political realities, and the economic interests at play.
But there are some solutions that can help service humanity’s needs which are readily available to be deployed in a non-violent manner, without threat to our planet’s eco-systems, and which have been used in the past and are there today to be used again.
Hemp is one of these solutions. One of the most ancient and useful plants grown by Man, the absence of Hemp in contemporary American agriculture is remarkable. We should recognize the industrial Hemp plant for what it is: a true gift of Nature. Indeed, one shouldn’t forget that Hemp was seen as the “Tree of Life” in Biblical times. This reverence is not surprising, as Hemp can provide many of the key necessities of life: clothing, construction materials, food and energy. Hemp, in fact, was grown by our Founding Fathers, helped sailors navigate the globe in the form of rope and canvas for sails, and aided the U.S. in World War II in the form of parachute harnesses and rope.
Hemp was dismissed, abandoned and outlawed for a variety of reasons, but mainly because of economic alternatives that were more lucrative, coupled with a significant public campaign to convince the American people and their government that all Hemp was evil. Thus the useful industrial Cannabis Hemp was outlawed along with its intoxicating cousin, commonly known as Marijuana. Various strains of cannabis can produce intoxicating effects, but not Hemp. Hemp simply does not contain enough of the active compound needed to alter consciousness.
Consequently industrial Hemp is not a drug. Full stop. There is no intoxicant present in any quantity to alter consciousness whether it be smoked, distilled, or otherwise used. Many countries raise industrial Hemp without compromising their policies regarding intoxicating strains of Cannabis, and the proposition that growing Hemp gives Marijuana growers a cover under which to operate is simply not true. The plants look different (one is small and bushy and the other tall) and to grow Marijuana in and amongst Hemp would negatively impact the intoxicating effects of Marijuana. As such, there is no sound reason why America cannot likewise benefit from Hemp’s cultivation.
So, what is hemp?
It is a tall fibrous plant that can used for:
• Fiber-it can help preserve our forests and forgo the toxicity of cotton as an alternate source of fiber for paper and clothes….
• Food-its seeds contain a complete protein and a balanced source of EFA’s….
• Fuel-it can very easily be turned into a form of bio-diesel…
And it can be grown without pesticides or herbicides…..
In a country where our farmers are struggling to stay on the land, in a country where we seek energy independence, in a world in which preserving our forests is necessary to help mitigate global warming, and in a world that needs alternate protein sources to animal products as we can’t afford the land and water required to “grow” them, Hemp can and should be part of the solution.
The time for a sane and coherent discussion regarding Hemp is now. It is time for America to make use of the abundant natural resource that is Hemp. In doing so, we as a Nation will further one of our primary goals: to reduce our dependence on foreign resources, particularly oil. Thus it is strongly in our national interest, both economically and environmentally, to follow the lead of other industrial Hemp producing countries, such as Canada, France, Australia, China and others. We as humans are already using 33% more resources than our planet can produce. If we were farmers-we’d be eating our seed instead of planting it. If we were a bank, we’d be spending our principal.
Hemp won’t solve all our problems, but it can be part of the solution: the time for a sane and coherent discussion regarding Hemp is now.
May it happen and be moved back into full scale production. It’s in America’s roots, and it’s time to have it as part of future. This is a time when we can ill-afford to turn our back on so valuable a resource.

It feels good to be apart of a connection that has similar ethics and common ground. I found this show to be particularly inspiring for me. When you first aired the interview I saw that you had proclaimed “The Signature of All Things” as fantabulous, so next time I was in a bookstore I picked up a copy. I had been reading it as I was creating images of the flowers in my garden for an art show I had committed to a couple of months prior. The synchronicity of having this book to encourage me through this process was fantabulous in itself. Then as I listened to you re-air the interview, I was deep into framing all this work, and wondering why I was doing it when Elizabeth Gilbert said “We are here to make things, not to make drama around making things.” Wow. Did I need to hear that!!
And I can’t begin to find words to tell you how much I was moved by the second half of this show.

I’m looking forward to this event in Oakland. I’m a story teller – re-inventing a transformational mythology of Crossing Persephone’s Threshold. I tell the story of my mother’s journey depression as a sacred path toward wholeness. I narrate her journey through the madness of the mental health system of the 1960’s – in what I call, “MYTHOLOGY TURNED PATHOLOGY” when her post partum depression was interpreted as a sickness that could only be cured with electro convulsive shock therapy and psychotropic meditation. Watching my mother dance with the insanity of modern psychiatry, at age 8, I vowed to find out what could have helped her. If my mother would have been living in Southern Italy, where her mother immigrated from, the family would have noticed that she had been “bitten” by the mythical bite of the spider, and that she had fallen into a “melancholy.” The only cure? Dance! The family would have summoned the musicians and come to their home, where the “initiate” or the one who was “bitten” could dance to break free of the poison of duality (my interpretation). Pro-serpina or First Serpent is in my opinion, the path to awakening from the slumber of duality, she desires to re-member who she is, the woman bitten is called

Dear Caroline: We heard your show for the first time on Christmas Day as we were headed for dinner in Bodega Bay. Christmas is a time when you can feel the deepest of lonely empty feelings when all around you mocks that feeling. So we were pleased and felt let in a door that warmed us when we found your show on the car radio around 2 on Christmas Day. We felt on the inside of every topic you chose to discuss; your views on Ferguson and Michael Brown and the police gave us a larger view on what has been a painful experience-just as Trayvon Martin and Erin Garner. We looked up the play Cops and Robbers at Pacific School of Religion and are planning to attend because he has a comprehensive view on what is happening in an area of deep concern for all of us really. The Baobab tree grows wild all through the country. In every village or neighborhood there is a Baobab tree, usually huge with a vast canopy that provides shade and shelter. Usually there is a platform built a few feet high around the tree where people gather, chat, sleep, contemplate.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. She had icrnrfetenee from me and the other dogs who were correcting her. The lead dogs didn’t like what she was doing and after she had killed several times they wouldn’t let her near the livestock if at all possible. This helped me with retraining her. After she was fully retrained she would bring me dead piglets she found out in the field to ask if she could eat them (the difference between found dead and kill is obvious if you’re there). Then I would allow her to eat them or divvy them up.With your dog Chico you need to start at square one and re-establish training, working him back up to the trusted level. This is what worked with Kita and with other dogs that I trained who came to us as adults and untrained. It is a slow process that takes a lot of patience but it is well worth the effort.
I recall being in the mountains of Guatemala years ago and thinking it was a really bad idea that the government was encouraging the local farmers to rip up their corn and bean crops and plant broccoli instead. The idea was that they could sell the crops and make more money, but before they had been able to feed themselves. Earlier I had marveled at how the corn and beans were not only mutualistic (the beans grew up the cornstalks as a trellis and provided nitrogen to the corn) but only together do they form a complete protein. (This stills seems like magic to me.) And walking through the fields of corn and beans I could see lots of variation from farm to farm, whereas the broccoli was all the same. I feared that one bad growing season and the entire village would be broke and hungry.

I am a very shy person, usually fairly quiet in groups – although I’m known by family and close friends to sometimes be quick and funny – usually I’m more reserved. As I read over the weekly descriptions of the course I’m thinking I may be too shy to participate fully – or make use of your teachings outside of class – and I’m wondering if maybe this course is geared toward people who are more outgoing than I ever will be. Perhaps an astrological reading would fit me better than taking this course? I don’t want to take it and then feel like I can’t incorporate your offerings. What do you think – would an extreme introvert benefit from this course?

On this day of the return of Venus from the Underworld (March 30, with the middle-east crescent moon), it’s always good to hear the VA’s (behooving) Spring Equinox talks—when she’s usually at her most eloquent and witty (with a little help from her musical friends)—, it makes me wish that I could have been there in Washington DC in real time on the day before the equinox (I live on the west coast of KPFA)! I don’t know if the recording was available before today (it wasn’t broadcast last week’s show), but this was my first time hearing it—and makes me want to hear the rest of it!
Yup, it’s always good to remind us of our integral connection with the natural world, as our own (pagan) ancestors recognized and honored/celebrated the new season of rebirth in age-old rituals set aside from the workaday world. Since we modern, urbanized people need reminding—we get sucked back into the old routine (maybe just a week later) in our hectic lives so easily—, it’s good to hear this Equinox talk and its “sky-earth story”! (At least for someone like me, who tends to soon forget the traditional meaning of this special astronomical/astrological event and gets spiritually waylaid by the demands of the day-to-day world—and it’s socio-political realities. So, if I could celebrate the Vernal Equinox not just for one day, but rather (like our pagan ancestors customarily did) for a few time-out days or a whole week, then its spirit would probably stay alive in me for a longer time!)
And let me not leave out mention in the Equinox (neo-animistic) picture here (i. e., the “enthusos” of “Spring’s Green Fire” animation) that (because the show is not only about astrological “animism” but political “activism” married) it’s also always good for those of us who would say they are “politically active” in their communities (geographical or internet) to be reminded by the VA about not getting so caught up in the heat of the issues of the day that we lose our “cool”, especially with those on the other side of the political map (like those neighbors, relatives, co-workers, etc. who are enough to “get our goats”).
Again, I don’t know about anybody else, but this is especially good for someone like me—who sometimes gives as good as he gets (and then even more) in the way of verbal abuse: yes, don’t forget to ask “did you know?” and “keep your cool”! (The only trouble is—I can warn you—you shouldn’t include “Did you know … what I really think of you and your whole fascist crowd?” Well, unless, maybe you could say it in a witty and “cool” way—a trickster-coyote/akido way! Which might include pissing on all their political thought-traps!)
So, that said, forgive me if I also say that even though I would have preferred to hear this talk just before the Spring day it was honoring, it’s probably good that it was sometime after (11 days, as Venus plunges into the Underworld and returns)—the very mention of the diabolical shenanigans (that “old black magic”) of the “Dementors of Doom” (in Alt-Right form) would have been enough to ruin the reverent and spicy neopagan mood which was “animated” during the Celtic-neopagan celebration I attended that Sunday! (And yet I could theoretically see that it would be okay and not bring me down. I mean, maybe the fact that the wedding of the magic of spiritual animism to the activism of political transformation would mean that you couldn’t tell if the coming together event you were attending was a neopagan “Re-birth Equinox” celebration of cosmological-sexual orgy, or an Entheo-Enthusiastic political rally! Well, that is, in the spirit of “the most serious and dedicated fun”, you could—if you determined it by the amount of clothes you had on after!) I remember how G.W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq—“Operation Iraqi Freedom”—on the Spring Equinox of March 19, 2013 put a real damper of that year’s festivities! (And, talk about the “back magic” of these Dementors of Doom, was it just a coincidence that they pulled this off on the traditional big celebration of the Spring Equinox, which is the Persian New Year, Nowruz, March 21, 2013? And, speaking of the old Leftist adage of the “personal is the political”, “spiritual activism” gets really personal to democratic neo-animists when the “Dementors of Doom” operate under the banner of a traditional neopagan-hating Christian Right politics, like the current Bannon Alt-Right! Then the entire “political struggle” is seen in a different light.)
But seriously (the days of Sixties “carnivalesque”-style rallies and demonstrations gone by), these days of the experimental wedding of “spiritual animism” and “political activism” is easier said than done—at least for me (especially when everything seems to conspire to keep these two existential domains worlds apart when you’re trying your best to bridge the cultural/epistemological gap)! I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve not yet achieved a heartfelt toast to all the players in the Political Theater (of “the razzle-dazzle bamboozling swindle”, produced by the movie company of Breitbart-Bannon), even to the poisoner-henchmen of the Dementors of Doom. (The allure of blowing the poisonous froth back in their “Alt-Reich” faces is too much for me! Ah, don’t want to “animate that metaphor”! But I’m trying nonetheless—“aspiring-blowing it-aspiring—, and there may be hope for me yet! I’m ordering some coyote hair tomorrow!) Again, good to be reminded that we don’t want to “fall into polarity” by “taking sides”! (Actually, this political positioning gets more complex, I’ve always thought that there was a third side: the side of the “Loyal Opposition”.)
So don’t know what I’d do without the VA’s guiding, “curvey” wisdom (e.g., “magic[k] is a willingness to cooperate with everything”) keeping me on spiritual track (and helping “to consider how [in the fuck] we got here”)!
“And so it is for all of us” (about new-age “spiritual paths”), here’s my blessing: May we all (as mystico-activists) re-member the akido/apophatic days when we had to first learn how to “fall”! As the VA likes to quote:
“When you’re kicked off the edge of a precipice, it’s no help to cling to the rocks falling with you.” (Alan Watts)
Asking for Blessing on Ecuador’s presidential election tomorrow, April 2, and longevity and endurance for Ecuador’s current constitional legal rights for Nature ! and ban on GMO crops (EC and Venezuela are the only 2 countries in N, S and Central America to ban GMO crops). Oh man, with the astro-mythical insights and revelations flying fast-and-furious with the energetic cahooting of the VA and her guest Daniel Giamario, it was all I could do to keep up (eventually had to stop what I was doing while listening and just pay attention to the broadcast)!
Yet, admittedly, it’s still difficult for me to fully “get” the astrological analogies/metaphors and whatnot since I have little knowledge about how the ancient zodiacal “science” works. I mean, I just have to basically take it on faith what these two astrologer-magi have to say (even if at times with an infinitesimal grain of salt—the alchemical salt of Mercury?) But I nonetheless appreciate the manifold “stories” (and “meta-story”) these sky configurations tell when imaginatively interpreted with the astro-hermeneutics of Caroline and Daniel.
So astrology or whatever, I’m willing to listen and entertain any symbolic system of (Hermeneutical) “signs” that give me a better and deeper understanding of socio-political current events globally (from academic historians like Timothy Snyder to popular astrologers like DG).
And it can be quite entertaining when you try to follow the astrological theories of a quicksilver mind like DG and you marvel at how far out a model of the cosmos can be—e.g., galactic center and edge/periphery, circle of stars, star-gate to the composting Underworld/Great Backhole between constellations, incarnating souls, and all (don’t tell astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson!)—and wonder what this ever has to do with the current politics of Trump (aka, “the SCROTUS”)!
I’m going, at this point in the dialogue, “Wow, what a marvel! I’m getting my political analysis—and maybe my socio-political worldview not from Amy Goodman but instead from this “shamanic astrologer.” It’s like my credulity is being tested. But, then, the next thing I know DG is revealing—in the best and most sterling tradition of post-sixties (Mae B.) “conspiracy theory”—how ISIL is a CIA-created monster! (And he can run it down to you with equal investigative muckraking finesse as was his considerable astro-logical acumen)!
So, by the end of the program I’m thinking that, yes indeed, I’m getting my political science/theory education from a cultural change wizard of an “astrologer,” but that’s okay—it’s just as it should be—because, at the same time, I’m getting my astro-mythical education from an ace political “conspiracy theorist”! (Coincidentia oppositorum.)
Therefore, for me, the real payoff for the commitment to hanging in there in cooperative listening when it gets deep and two (seemingly separate) areas of knowledge/languages—i.e., social criticism and astro-visionary art—is they come together! And they did so wonderfully in this sagacious conversation today! I feel I have learned something I couldn’t learn anywhere else on the KPFA lineup of shows. Sending you my sincere sympathy for the loss of Stella Coyote. I have limited experience with coyotes, but I would like to share with you a few very brief moments that I experienced while living in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in a town called Ahwahnee. I was driving into town one morning and happened to see a coyote crossing the road ahead of me. I slowed down and when she got to the other side of the road, she stopped and turned to me and looked me right in the eyes with such clear, bright, dark eyes. I felt very blessed that she looked at me so intently. I noticed that her coat was very beautiful, shiny and full, a mottled color of dark brown, grey and beige. She was so healthy!
Another coyote incident took place one hot summer evening. We were sitting outside behind the house, after dusk, and nearby I heard a bark, sort of a high-pitched dog bark. The bark was quickly followed by the howling of a small pack, then the yip-yip of perhaps a hunting expedition. I immediately knew that the first barks were the signal by the alpha to the rest of pack to hunt or to surround the prey. I was glad to hear the bark of the alpha, and how the pack members knew exactly what to do. They were hidden by the trees, so unfortunately I wasn’t able to see the coyotes. I am so glad I had these coyote experiences, although brief, but quite meaningful.

Thirty years ago I too was doing the kind of work Rachel is now doing, except that my “dangerous mythological assignment” took me down a darker road.As a trained psychotherapist/shaman I sat for a client while he went through a “medicine journey”. Long story short, he died in my arms. I wrote a book about my experience and I would like you to read it before we start our class on Sept.12th.. Hi. First of all-day you for posting this interview. I had the privledge of reading this book over the Summer and I recently sought therapy to guide me through my personal journey I am taking with plant medicine. I have seen the therapist twice and she has already requested I stop my plant medicine therapy…and has also cautiously diagnosed me with severe anxiety, depression and possible mood disorder. Now-I am not saying she is wrong persay. I have struggled for years with all of those things and have suffered, but I have had positive change with the therapy I have been doing on my own, but do think…would benefit from a guide. I currently located in Maryland, is there any chance…there is a therapist here I could reach out to? I really so not wanna sacrifice the work I have done this far…I want to move forward…

Tears came to my eyes as Tich nacht Hanh told her to look to the sky and see the clouds and realize her dog has transformed and will be with her always in the sky. I would ignore the US State Department. Turkey is a gorgeous country physically and spiritually. I visited Turkey this past November when Americans couldn’t get a visa. I was lucky to have gotten mine just before the ban. The two countries recently resumed issuance of visas, so I hope to get one to cover the second half of 2018. I’m visiting Turkey again next month. I want to see the country and the Middle East from corner to corner. I also love Caroline Casey ever since I saw her speak at last year’s NCGR conference in Baltimore. I’d like to see her again at UAC in Chicago in May. Therefore, I’d love to see her in Turkey.

I only just crossed paths with your tremendous works. I’m ingesting the signs coming at this croossing and feel compelled to tell you of a dream I had in 2001. Iwas living alone with my dog, Trinity in the South central desert of Utah. In the dream I was at the same place where I was in the physical, a short distance from my camp. It was nighttime in the dream and I saw a group of 10 figures circled around a campfire. The figures were nearly 15 ft. tall and were swaying slightly and chanting or speaking in a language I didn’t know. Out of curiosity I drew closer to see if I could make out what they were saying. Suddenly they broke circle in a way that allowed the firelight to illuminate me and my postion. It was at that moment that I realized that I was a small, skinny and young coyote. The figures were all looking at me and I felt just a wiff of fear when they communicated to me clearly, “It’s ok that you’re here, it’s good because you are the reason we are here.” And then the dream ended and I awoke to a ravens cawing and the first peak of sunrise. I have never before or since been a coyote in a dream or vision. For obvious reasons, this is my first sharing with you. Peace to you and much appreciation for your messages about the trickster. <3
I see the pattern of Soul development embedded in the pattern of human physiological and psychological development. From this view I see all human institutions ie; religion, government, schooling, media, economic systems and so forth as pseudo parents for our child and adolescent phases of development as a species. In our short physical lives we experience and express our developmental process from seed, to seedling, to young robust arboreal beauty and into our elder-hood as great holders of experience and sentience and witnessing. We see how, if we live long enough, we fulfill all these phases and spiral back into our ancientness with new eyes, born of reincanative experience. We spiral into our adulthood, our adepthood and our multi-domain natures. We flesh out the kinship in ways yet beyond our imaginings.. I’m open to that. As we come out of our adolescent phase as a species, we no longer need the pseudo parent structures and so they crumble and with them , the veil of hierarchy and outside authority comes down. It’s coming down naturally as we come into our sovereign state as free creative beings living in cooperation. It’s the obvious apocalypse. Apocalypse means, the veil coming down, the great revealing. Chaos is ever present, we are just seeing more of it now because, the facade of order through control is coming down. Trump is the epitome of mass addiction to arrogance, self righteousness and the delusion of control. You can through avarice in there too. He represents our break with “practice adulthood”, our initiation phase and our natural development into intentional creating with free and lively cooperation, consideration, humble witnessing and powerful reflecting as we emerge into our openly reciprocating and balanced nature. We have yet to see our nature friends as well as our “invisible” friends because we’ve all been seeing through warped and lopsided lenses. I believe your work is a sign of the the mythic, the mystic and the animistic, rising again, refreshed and ready to greet or coming of age humanity. We’re coming into a leaderless time, a time of harmony between free creative beings. We’re returning to our divine ways of creating with meaning, context and narrative. We’re reuniting with our story telling aspects and boy do we have skills, and an increased reach for expression as the harvest of all of our adolescent venturings in the eons of our soul development distill upon us. Anywho, so much to see and say. One last thought, since entropy is a tendency to go into disorder then absolute entropy would indicate that, no further disorder can be attained. It follows that absolute entropy is the same as absolute order because both states designate zero capacity to decay or become less orderly. Chaos can be a synonym for disorder, for deep entropy As I see it, We are growing awake and I’m glad to be involved, I’m happy to be here. Woof!.

this is the one I have been ingesting…In my experience the inflammation after my oral surgery diminished rapidly and drastically. By not spending energy digesting my body can use the goodness right away. So much potassium, protein, magnesium and vitamins.
(makes 1 QT in a juicer or you can blend and strain) 5 stalks of celery, 1 cucumber, 1 bunch of kale, 1 bunch of spinach, 1/2 granny smith apple, 1/2 lemon (peeled), 1/4″ piece of ginger, 5 stalks of parsley, 1/2 bunch dandelion greens. I can feel the life energy as soon as I drink this and my body vibrating with serene joy.
I asked: do you grow castor plants there? I grow one as an annual every year in NJ…and then I found that if you put your finger tips in the very center of the large leaves where the veins meet, it is centering and help you open wide…amazing plant allies…I just dug mine up to bring in for the winter, so far the tree is NOT happy ; (. any tips?

Dear Caroline, I listened to Honoring December 21, 2012 this morning. I was particularly interested in the comments made by Bruce Scofield about Darwin not being necessarily about survival of the fittest, and that there was emerging evidence that evolution is actually about cooperativity. I recently published a book on this subject, entitled Evolutionary Biology, Cell-Cell Communication and Complex Disease (Wiley-Blackwell, 2012). In it i demonstrate that multicellular organisms have evolved from unicellular organisms through ‘metabolic cooperativity’. Regarding the influences of the physical environment on biologic systems that was discussed by Michael DiMartino, those influences are so ancient that we don’t recognize them as such, but they are imbedded in our physiology, as I and others have shown experimentally. Those traits are precognitive, so I think that it is very likely that the kinds of Astrological phenomena that you and your audience are interested in are the result of such interactions between our ancestors and our environment. By the way, Darwin was in my opinion very aware of such relationships, as reflected in his extensive descriptions of the topography around the Gallapegos Islands, but he didn’t have the scientific basis to make such claims directly. As an other corollary to that, Lamarck is coming back into vogue with the recognition that there are direct environmental effects on genetic inheritance. It’s called epigenetics, in which the DNA readout is modified, as we have recently shown (Rehan VK, Liu J, Naeem E, Tian J, Sakurai R, Kwong K, Akbari O, Torday JS.Perinatal nicotine exposure induces asthma in second generation offspring. BMC Med. 2012 Oct 30;10(1):129.). I think we will eventually see the functional connections between the physical and biologic domains that underpin Astrology. The sooner the better in my opinion. jt

HEMP: A GIFT IT’S TIME TO RECEIVE
The time for solutions is now; our future depends on it.
Today’s world is undoubtedly complex. Even if one chooses to try and live a life of inner and outer peace, one’s life isn’t without violence to others-especially if one defines violence along a continuum of negatively impacting other beings to actually physically harming them.
This reality of violence to other beings and the planet is especially true when one looks into how and what we eat and the depletion of the planet this results in; it’s true when we look into our clothes and what it takes to grow their materials and the way in which many of them are manufactured; and it’s certainly true when one looks into the energy that powers our homes, cars and industry and how it is extracted and turned into electricity, gas, and other fuel sources.
There is no silver bullet to solve any one of these basic requirements that humans have for our ongoing survival. In fact, the issues that need to be addressed for just one of these demands (food, clothing, energy) are massively complex, and made even more so given the population pressure, the geo-political realities, and the economic interests at play.
But there are some solutions that can help service humanity’s needs which are readily available to be deployed in a non-violent manner, without threat to our planet’s eco-systems, and which have been used in the past and are there today to be used again.
Hemp is one of these solutions. One of the most ancient and useful plants grown by Man, the absence of Hemp in contemporary American agriculture is remarkable. We should recognize the industrial Hemp plant for what it is: a true gift of Nature. Indeed, one shouldn’t forget that Hemp was seen as the “Tree of Life” in Biblical times. This reverence is not surprising, as Hemp can provide many of the key necessities of life: clothing, construction materials, food and energy. Hemp, in fact, was grown by our Founding Fathers, helped sailors navigate the globe in the form of rope and canvas for sails, and aided the U.S. in World War II in the form of parachute harnesses and rope.
Hemp was dismissed, abandoned and outlawed for a variety of reasons, but mainly because of economic alternatives that were more lucrative, coupled with a significant public campaign to convince the American people and their government that all Hemp was evil. Thus the useful industrial Cannabis Hemp was outlawed along with its intoxicating cousin, commonly known as Marijuana. Various strains of cannabis can produce intoxicating effects, but not Hemp. Hemp simply does not contain enough of the active compound needed to alter consciousness.
Consequently industrial Hemp is not a drug. Full stop. There is no intoxicant present in any quantity to alter consciousness whether it be smoked, distilled, or otherwise used. Many countries raise industrial Hemp without compromising their policies regarding intoxicating strains of Cannabis, and the proposition that growing Hemp gives Marijuana growers a cover under which to operate is simply not true. The plants look different (one is small and bushy and the other tall) and to grow Marijuana in and amongst Hemp would negatively impact the intoxicating effects of Marijuana. As such, there is no sound reason why America cannot likewise benefit from Hemp’s cultivation.
So, what is hemp?
It is a tall fibrous plant that can used for:
• Fiber-it can help preserve our forests and forgo the toxicity of cotton as an alternate source of fiber for paper and clothes….
• Food-its seeds contain a complete protein and a balanced source of EFA’s….
• Fuel-it can very easily be turned into a form of bio-diesel…
And it can be grown without pesticides or herbicides…..
In a country where our farmers are struggling to stay on the land, in a country where we seek energy independence, in a world in which preserving our forests is necessary to help mitigate global warming, and in a world that needs alternate protein sources to animal products as we can’t afford the land and water required to “grow” them, Hemp can and should be part of the solution.
The time for a sane and coherent discussion regarding Hemp is now. It is time for America to make use of the abundant natural resource that is Hemp. In doing so, we as a Nation will further one of our primary goals: to reduce our dependence on foreign resources, particularly oil. Thus it is strongly in our national interest, both economically and environmentally, to follow the lead of other industrial Hemp producing countries, such as Canada, France, Australia, China and others. We as humans are already using 33% more resources than our planet can produce. If we were farmers-we’d be eating our seed instead of planting it. If we were a bank, we’d be spending our principal.
Hemp won’t solve all our problems, but it can be part of the solution: the time for a sane and coherent discussion regarding Hemp is now.
May it happen and be moved back into full scale production. It’s in America’s roots, and it’s time to have it as part of future. This is a time when we can ill-afford to turn our back on so valuable a resource.

I listened to these lovely woman in person and was enriched, moved and motivated. In fact tears filled my eyes as they spoke on stage last year at a local University. It feels good to be apart of a connection that has similar ethics and common ground. If it is possible and you are so moved maybe you could connect with these dynamic woman and assist one another in the process of social activism and change. Anything is possible.

I found this show to be particularly inspiring for me. When you first aired the interview I saw that you had proclaimed “The Signature of All Things” as fantabulous, so next time I was in a bookstore I picked up a copy. I had been reading it as I was creating images of the flowers in my garden for an art show I had committed to a couple of months prior. The synchronicity of having this book to encourage me through this process was fantabulous in itself. Then as I listened to you re-air the interview, I was deep into framing all this work, and wondering why I was doing it when Elizabeth Gilbert said “We are here to make things, not to make drama around making things.” Wow. Did I need to hear that!!
And I can’t begin to find words to tell you how much I was moved by the second half of this show.
Thank you for how skillfully and playfully you bring forward these wonderful women’s voices! It brings me joy to hear how much they both enjoyed speaking with you.

I’m looking forward to this event in Oakland. I’m a story teller – re-inventing a transformational mythology of Crossing Persephone’s Threshold. I tell the story of my mother’s journey depression as a sacred path toward wholeness. I narrate her journey through the madness of the mental health system of the 1960’s – in what I call, “MYTHOLOGY TURNED PATHOLOGY” when her post partum depression was interpreted as a sickness that could only be cured with electro convulsive shock therapy and psychotropic meditation. Watching my mother dance with the insanity of modern psychiatry, at age 8, I vowed to find out what could have helped her. If my mother would have been living in Southern Italy, where her mother immigrated from, the family would have noticed that she had been “bitten” by the mythical bite of the spider, and that she had fallen into a “melancholy.” The only cure? Dance! The family would have summoned the musicians and come to their home, where the “initiate” or the one who was “bitten” could dance to break free of the poison of duality (my interpretation). Pro-serpina or First Serpent is in my opinion, the path to awakening from the slumber of duality, she desires to re-member who she is, the woman bitten is called
TARANTATA and the roots of this modern day (religious) festival can be traced back to 6th century b.c.. with the ecstatic maenad dancers depicted in art from ancient Southern Italy. The Tarantatas are honored in two modern day festivals still celebrated in Southern Italy. WE all have a story in our heart – a story of finding out who we really are. It is encoded in our DNA. My mother did recover…but oh what a journey for both her and me. I tell this story with great love and devotion for my mother – and for the Great Mother- encoded in my heart,

It was a great talk and that poem-song makes it worth the 20, but since I saw it once and am a member, is this something I have access to already and I just can’t find my way back to my access node. Dear Caroline: We heard your show for the first time on Christmas Day as we were headed for dinner in Bodega Bay. Christmas is a time when you can feel the deepest of lonely empty feelings when all around you mocks that feeling. So we were pleased and felt let in a door that warmed us when we found your show on the car radio around 2 on Christmas Day. We felt on the inside of every topic you chose to discuss; your views on Ferguson and Michael Brown and the police gave us a larger view on what has been a painful experience-just as Trayvon Martin and Erin Garner. We looked up the play Cops and Robbers at Pacific School of Religion and are planning to attend because he has a comprehensive view on what is happening in an area of deep concern for all of us really. I was a student at PSR, and I am a writer whose passion is to show with compassion the incidences, people and places we ignore, deny or justify, with the intention of our seeing ourselves as active participants and not observers, engaged and not passive, good people willing to do what we can rather than feeling the victim to things “beyond our control-outside our power.”

The Baobab tree grows wild all through the country. In every village or neighborhood there is a Baobab tree, usually huge with a vast canopy that provides shade and shelter. Usually there is a platform built a few feet high around the tree where people gather, chat, sleep, contemplate.
The memory of this came back to me while listening to this program.

I am Caroline’s web wuf. I’ll take a look right away.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. She had icrnrfetenee from me and the other dogs who were correcting her. The lead dogs didn’t like what she was doing and after she had killed several times they wouldn’t let her near the livestock if at all possible. This helped me with retraining her. After she was fully retrained she would bring me dead piglets she found out in the field to ask if she could eat them (the difference between found dead and kill is obvious if you’re there). Then I would allow her to eat them or divvy them up.With your dog Chico you need to start at square one and re-establish training, working him back up to the trusted level. This is what worked with Kita and with other dogs that I trained who came to us as adults and untrained. It is a slow process that takes a lot of patience but it is well worth the effort.
I recall being in the mountains of Guatemala years ago and thinking it was a really bad idea that the government was encouraging the local farmers to rip up their corn and bean crops and plant broccoli instead. The idea was that they could sell the crops and make more money, but before they had been able to feed themselves. Earlier I had marveled at how the corn and beans were not only mutualistic (the beans grew up the cornstalks as a trellis and provided nitrogen to the corn) but only together do they form a complete protein. (This stills seems like magic to me.) And walking through the fields of corn and beans I could see lots of variation from farm to farm, whereas the broccoli was all the same. I feared that one bad growing season and the entire village would be broke and hungry.
that is a good observation.. land management gets lost in the economic only schemes…

And I have a question – sorry, I had to work during the live question and answer session you recently offered – I’m wondering if I am the type of person who can really utilize the material in your 7 week class:
I am a very shy person, usually fairly quiet in groups – although I’m known by family and close friends to sometimes be quick and funny – usually I’m more reserved. As I read over the weekly descriptions of the course I’m thinking I may be too shy to participate fully – or make use of your teachings outside of class – and I’m wondering if maybe this course is geared toward people who are more outgoing than I ever will be. Perhaps an astrological reading would fit me better than taking this course? I don’t want to take it and then feel like I can’t incorporate your offerings. What do you think – would an extreme introvert benefit from this course?

On this day of the return of Venus from the Underworld (March 30, with the middle-east crescent moon), it’s always good to hear the VA’s (behooving) Spring Equinox talks—when she’s usually at her most eloquent and witty (with a little help from her musical friends)—, it makes me wish that I could have been there in Washington DC in real time on the day before the equinox (I live on the west coast of KPFA)! I don’t know if the recording was available before today (it wasn’t broadcast last week’s show), but this was my first time hearing it—and makes me want to hear the rest of it!
Yup, it’s always good to remind us of our integral connection with the natural world, as our own (pagan) ancestors recognized and honored/celebrated the new season of rebirth in age-old rituals set aside from the workaday world. Since we modern, urbanized people need reminding—we get sucked back into the old routine (maybe just a week later) in our hectic lives so easily—, it’s good to hear this Equinox talk and its “sky-earth story”! (At least for someone like me, who tends to soon forget the traditional meaning of this special astronomical/astrological event and gets spiritually waylaid by the demands of the day-to-day world—and it’s socio-political realities. So, if I could celebrate the Vernal Equinox not just for one day, but rather (like our pagan ancestors customarily did) for a few time-out days or a whole week, then its spirit would probably stay alive in me for a longer time!)
And let me not leave out mention in the Equinox (neo-animistic) picture here (i. e., the “enthusos” of “Spring’s Green Fire” animation) that (because the show is not only about astrological “animism” but political “activism” married) it’s also always good for those of us who would say they are “politically active” in their communities (geographical or internet) to be reminded by the VA about not getting so caught up in the heat of the issues of the day that we lose our “cool”, especially with those on the other side of the political map (like those neighbors, relatives, co-workers, etc. who are enough to “get our goats”).
Again, I don’t know about anybody else, but this is especially good for someone like me—who sometimes gives as good as he gets (and then even more) in the way of verbal abuse: yes, don’t forget to ask “did you know?” and “keep your cool”! (The only trouble is—I can warn you—you shouldn’t include “Did you know … what I really think of you and your whole fascist crowd?” Well, unless, maybe you could say it in a witty and “cool” way—a trickster-coyote/akido way! Which might include pissing on all their political thought-traps!)
So, that said, forgive me if I also say that even though I would have preferred to hear this talk just before the Spring day it was honoring, it’s probably good that it was sometime after (11 days, as Venus plunges into the Underworld and returns)—the very mention of the diabolical shenanigans (that “old black magic”) of the “Dementors of Doom” (in Alt-Right form) would have been enough to ruin the reverent and spicy neopagan mood which was “animated” during the Celtic-neopagan celebration I attended that Sunday! (And yet I could theoretically see that it would be okay and not bring me down. I mean, maybe the fact that the wedding of the magic of spiritual animism to the activism of political transformation would mean that you couldn’t tell if the coming together event you were attending was a neopagan “Re-birth Equinox” celebration of cosmological-sexual orgy, or an Entheo-Enthusiastic political rally! Well, that is, in the spirit of “the most serious and dedicated fun”, you could—if you determined it by the amount of clothes you had on after!) I remember how G.W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq—“Operation Iraqi Freedom”—on the Spring Equinox of March 19, 2013 put a real damper of that year’s festivities! (And, talk about the “back magic” of these Dementors of Doom, was it just a coincidence that they pulled this off on the traditional big celebration of the Spring Equinox, which is the Persian New Year, Nowruz, March 21, 2013? And, speaking of the old Leftist adage of the “personal is the political”, “spiritual activism” gets really personal to democratic neo-animists when the “Dementors of Doom” operate under the banner of a traditional neopagan-hating Christian Right politics, like the current Bannon Alt-Right! Then the entire “political struggle” is seen in a different light.)
But seriously (the days of Sixties “carnivalesque”-style rallies and demonstrations gone by), these days of the experimental wedding of “spiritual animism” and “political activism” is easier said than done—at least for me (especially when everything seems to conspire to keep these two existential domains worlds apart when you’re trying your best to bridge the cultural/epistemological gap)! I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve not yet achieved a heartfelt toast to all the players in the Political Theater (of “the razzle-dazzle bamboozling swindle”, produced by the movie company of Breitbart-Bannon), even to the poisoner-henchmen of the Dementors of Doom. (The allure of blowing the poisonous froth back in their “Alt-Reich” faces is too much for me! Ah, don’t want to “animate that metaphor”! But I’m trying nonetheless—“aspiring-blowing it-aspiring—, and there may be hope for me yet! I’m ordering some coyote hair tomorrow!) Again, good to be reminded that we don’t want to “fall into polarity” by “taking sides”! (Actually, this political positioning gets more complex, I’ve always thought that there was a third side: the side of the “Loyal Opposition”.)
So don’t know what I’d do without the VA’s guiding, “curvey” wisdom (e.g., “magic[k] is a willingness to cooperate with everything”) keeping me on spiritual track (and helping “to consider how [in the fuck] we got here”)!
“And so it is for all of us” (about new-age “spiritual paths”), here’s my blessing: May we all (as mystico-activists) re-member the akido/apophatic days when we had to first learn how to “fall”! As the VA likes to quote:
“When you’re kicked off the edge of a precipice, it’s no help to cling to the rocks falling with you.” (Alan Watts)

Oh man, with the astro-mythical insights and revelations flying fast-and-furious with the energetic cahooting of the VA and her guest Daniel Giamario, it was all I could do to keep up (eventually had to stop what I was doing while listening and just pay attention to the broadcast)!
Yet, admittedly, it’s still difficult for me to fully “get” the astrological analogies/metaphors and whatnot since I have little knowledge about how the ancient zodiacal “science” works. I mean, I just have to basically take it on faith what these two astrologer-magi have to say (even if at times with an infinitesimal grain of salt—the alchemical salt of Mercury?) But I nonetheless appreciate the manifold “stories” (and “meta-story”) these sky configurations tell when imaginatively interpreted with the astro-hermeneutics of Caroline and Daniel.
So astrology or whatever, I’m willing to listen and entertain any symbolic system of (Hermeneutical) “signs” that give me a better and deeper understanding of socio-political current events globally (from academic historians like Timothy Snyder to popular astrologers like DG).
And it can be quite entertaining when you try to follow the astrological theories of a quicksilver mind like DG and you marvel at how far out a model of the cosmos can be—e.g., galactic center and edge/periphery, circle of stars, star-gate to the composting Underworld/Great Backhole between constellations, incarnating souls, and all (don’t tell astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson!)—and wonder what this ever has to do with the current politics of Trump (aka, “the SCROTUS”)!
I’m going, at this point in the dialogue, “Wow, what a marvel! I’m getting my political analysis—and maybe my socio-political worldview not from Amy Goodman but instead from this “shamanic astrologer.” It’s like my credulity is being tested. But, then, the next thing I know DG is revealing—in the best and most sterling tradition of post-sixties (Mae B.) “conspiracy theory”—how ISIL is a CIA-created monster! (And he can run it down to you with equal investigative muckraking finesse as was his considerable astro-logical acumen)!
So, by the end of the program I’m thinking that, yes indeed, I’m getting my political science/theory education from a cultural change wizard of an “astrologer,” but that’s okay—it’s just as it should be—because, at the same time, I’m getting my astro-mythical education from an ace political “conspiracy theorist”! (Coincidentia oppositorum.)
Therefore, for me, the real payoff for the commitment to hanging in there in cooperative listening when it gets deep and two (seemingly separate) areas of knowledge/languages—i.e., social criticism and astro-visionary art—is they come together! And they did so wonderfully in this sagacious conversation today! I feel I have learned something I couldn’t learn anywhere else on the KPFA lineup of shows. Fantastic—Sun in Gemini, Moon in Virgo, Mercury in Taurus—show! Woof! Woof!

Sending you my sincere sympathy for the loss of Stella Coyote. I have limited experience with coyotes, but I would like to share with you a few very brief moments that I experienced while living in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in a town called Ahwahnee. I was driving into town one morning and happened to see a coyote crossing the road ahead of me. I slowed down and when she got to the other side of the road, she stopped and turned to me and looked me right in the eyes with such clear, bright, dark eyes. I felt very blessed that she looked at me so intently. I noticed that her coat was very beautiful, shiny and full, a mottled color of dark brown, grey and beige. She was so healthy!
Another coyote incident took place one hot summer evening. We were sitting outside behind the house, after dusk, and nearby I heard a bark, sort of a high-pitched dog bark. The bark was quickly followed by the howling of a small pack, then the yip-yip of perhaps a hunting expedition. I immediately knew that the first barks were the signal by the alpha to the rest of pack to hunt or to surround the prey. I was glad to hear the bark of the alpha, and how the pack members knew exactly what to do. They were hidden by the trees, so unfortunately I wasn’t able to see the coyotes. I am so glad I had these coyote experiences, although brief, but quite meaningful.

Thirty years ago I too was doing the kind of work Rachel is now doing, except that my “dangerous mythological assignment” took me down a darker road.As a trained psychotherapist/shaman I sat for a client while he went through a “medicine journey”. Long story short, he died in my arms. I wrote a book about my experience and I would like you to read it before we start our class on Sept.12th.. I’ve done 30yrs of intense spiritual practices, hard life, low income ,,lost license to practice as a therapist, shunned by my profession ,and less than a year after my client died, my 18yr. old son died in heart surgery( no transplants then). Hi. First of all-day you for posting this interview. I had the privledge of reading this book over the Summer and I recently sought therapy to guide me through my personal journey I am taking with plant medicine. I have seen the therapist twice and she has already requested I stop my plant medicine therapy…and has also cautiously diagnosed me with severe anxiety, depression and possible mood disorder. Now-I am not saying she is wrong persay. I have struggled for years with all of those things and have suffered, but I have had positive change with the therapy I have been doing on my own, but do think…would benefit from a guide. I currently located in Maryland, is there any chance…there is a therapist here I could reach out to? I really so not wanna sacrifice the work I have done this far…I want to move forward…

If you were fortunate enough to see Tich Nacht Hanh’s recent movie, “Walk With Me) you might remember the little girl’s query about how to cope with her doggie’s death. Tears came to my eyes as Tich nacht Hanh told her to look to the sky and see the clouds and realize her dog has transformed and will be with her always in the sky. I would ignore the US State Department. Turkey is a gorgeous country physically and spiritually. I visited Turkey this past November when Americans couldn’t get a visa. I was lucky to have gotten mine just before the ban. The two countries recently resumed issuance of visas, so I hope to get one to cover the second half of 2018. I’m visiting Turkey again next month. I want to see the country and the Middle East from corner to corner. I also love Caroline Casey ever since I saw her speak at last year’s NCGR conference in Baltimore. I’d like to see her again at UAC in Chicago in May. Therefore, I’d love to see her in Turkey.

I only just crossed paths with your tremendous works. I’m ingesting the signs coming at this croossing and feel compelled to tell you of a dream I had in 2001. Iwas living alone with my dog, Trinity in the South central desert of Utah. In the dream I was at the same place where I was in the physical, a short distance from my camp. It was nighttime in the dream and I saw a group of 10 figures circled around a campfire. The figures were nearly 15 ft. tall and were swaying slightly and chanting or speaking in a language I didn’t know. Out of curiosity I drew closer to see if I could make out what they were saying. Suddenly they broke circle in a way that allowed the firelight to illuminate me and my postion. It was at that moment that I realized that I was a small, skinny and young coyote. The figures were all looking at me and I felt just a wiff of fear when they communicated to me clearly, “It’s ok that you’re here, it’s good because you are the reason we are here.” And then the dream ended and I awoke to a ravens cawing and the first peak of sunrise. I have never before or since been a coyote in a dream or vision. For obvious reasons, this is my first sharing with you. Peace to you and much appreciation for your messages about the trickster. <3
I see the pattern of Soul development embedded in the pattern of human physiological and psychological development. From this view I see all human institutions ie; religion, government, schooling, media, economic systems and so forth as pseudo parents for our child and adolescent phases of development as a species. In our short physical lives we experience and express our developmental process from seed, to seedling, to young robust arboreal beauty and into our elder-hood as great holders of experience and sentience and witnessing. We see how, if we live long enough, we fulfill all these phases and spiral back into our ancientness with new eyes, born of reincanative experience. We spiral into our adulthood, our adepthood and our multi-domain natures. We flesh out the kinship in ways yet beyond our imaginings.. I’m open to that. As we come out of our adolescent phase as a species, we no longer need the pseudo parent structures and so they crumble and with them , the veil of hierarchy and outside authority comes down. It’s coming down naturally as we come into our sovereign state as free creative beings living in cooperation. It’s the obvious apocalypse. Apocalypse means, the veil coming down, the great revealing. Chaos is ever present, we are just seeing more of it now because, the facade of order through control is coming down. Trump is the epitome of mass addiction to arrogance, self righteousness and the delusion of control. You can through avarice in there too. He represents our break with “practice adulthood”, our initiation phase and our natural development into intentional creating with free and lively cooperation, consideration, humble witnessing and powerful reflecting as we emerge into our openly reciprocating and balanced nature. We have yet to see our nature friends as well as our “invisible” friends because we’ve all been seeing through warped and lopsided lenses. I believe your work is a sign of the the mythic, the mystic and the animistic, rising again, refreshed and ready to greet or coming of age humanity. We’re coming into a leaderless time, a time of harmony between free creative beings. We’re returning to our divine ways of creating with meaning, context and narrative. We’re reuniting with our story telling aspects and boy do we have skills, and an increased reach for expression as the harvest of all of our adolescent venturings in the eons of our soul development distill upon us. Anywho, so much to see and say. One last thought, since entropy is a tendency to go into disorder then absolute entropy would indicate that, no further disorder can be attained. It follows that absolute entropy is the same as absolute order because both states designate zero capacity to decay or become less orderly. Chaos can be a synonym for disorder, for deep entropy As I see it, We are growing awake and I’m glad to be involved, I’m happy to be here. Woof!.

this is the one I have been ingesting…In my experience the inflammation after my oral surgery diminished rapidly and drastically. By not spending energy digesting my body can use the goodness right away. So much potassium, protein, magnesium and vitamins.
(makes 1 QT in a juicer or you can blend and strain) 5 stalks of celery, 1 cucumber, 1 bunch of kale, 1 bunch of spinach, 1/2 granny smith apple, 1/2 lemon (peeled), 1/4″ piece of ginger, 5 stalks of parsley, 1/2 bunch dandelion greens. I can feel the life energy as soon as I drink this and my body vibrating with serene joy.
